Delete My Data

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible OraWhale account data. Export anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Data deletion and subscription cancellation are separate. Cancel an active subscription first through Account → Subscription → Manage Billing.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] with the subject Access My Data, Correct My Data, Export My Data, or Delete My Data. Include the email connected to your account and a clear description of the request.

We may verify that you control the account before acting.

Data covered

Depending on your use, a request may cover account information, saved reflections, journal entries, tags, moods, draw history, Past Memories, On This Day, synced data, reminder preferences, email preferences, and eligible support records.

Information retained

We may retain limited payment, transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, consent, suppression, dispute, or legal records. Backup copies may remain until they expire through normal cycles. Stripe may retain payment records under its own obligations.

Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless more time is required or permitted by law.

Local data

Some information is stored in your browser. After cloud deletion, clear OraWhale site data on each device if you also want to remove local copies. Deletion cannot remove screenshots, downloads, exports, or other copies stored outside OraWhale.

Account → Subscription → Manage Billing

Cancel there to stop future charges before requesting account deletion.
