Refunds & Cancellation
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for OraWhale subscriptions.
1. Subscriptions and trials
Seeker and Oracle subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until canceled. Unless stated otherwise, free-trial eligibility is limited to one trial per account. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
2. How to cancel
Use:
If you cannot access the portal, email [email protected] with the subject Cancel Subscription.
3. After cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewal. Paid access may continue through the end of the current billing period. After a trial or subscription ends, the account may return to Wanderer limits. Older local memories may remain on the device but may not be accessible through free archive features.
4. Refunds
Completed charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law or approved by OraWhale. We review requests in good faith, including duplicate charges, billing errors, charges after a timely cancellation, a failure to provide paid access caused by OraWhale, or other circumstances required by law.
We generally do not provide prorated refunds for unused time after cancellation. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Requesting a refund
Email [email protected] with the subject Refund Request and include your account email, plan, charge date, reason, and any relevant receipt or screenshot.
6. Timing and currency
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Stripe, card networks, and banks control final timing. Tax and currency adjustments may affect the amount displayed by your financial institution.
7. Plan changes
Changing plan or billing interval may affect trial status, timing, charges, or credits. Review the Stripe confirmation before approving a change.
8. Account deletion
Deleting account data does not automatically cancel a subscription. Cancel billing separately before deletion.
